Again I voted for the winter gardens, but I do think most of them buildings are great in their own way, the city hall does look great, as I had only ever seen it when it was a building site, then I have seen it nows its all finished, it does look great, old yet modern.

Noting with some disappointment the lack of Bramall Lane, I voted for the Arts Tower. :-)

I voted for Tinsley because it reminds me of Sheffield and will be a landmark that people on the M1 (who may not have ever visited Sheffield) will know. With a bit of stylising the towers & double-deck viaduct could be turned into a symbol/logo.
The cooling towers can't be dropped because of their proximity to the viaduct can they? That was certainly the talk when I lived in Sheffield a few years back.
If not they should be spruced up and maybe floodlit? These and the viaduct could be turned into a real asset :)

I think most people in Sheffield would like the towers to be spruced up in some way. I believe the highway authority aren't keen on public art/advertising because it may distract drivers? As if such things don't exist already anyway.
