Posts in the "HK youngsters don't feel Chinese thread" made me bring this up.
What are we?
Hong Kongers?
Hong Kongese?
Hong Kongian?
I'm not really sure myself and when asked have never been able to give a definitive answer - I just stick to saying "I'm FROM Hong Kong" as opposed to "I'm Hong Kong/ian/ers/ese"

If you are asked in Chinese then you can say I am "Heung Kong Yan" but when asked in English its only appropriate to say that you are Chinese. Then people might asked what type of Chinese are you? Then you say Cantonese from Hong Kong.

That is if you're Chinese. But for non Chinese such as myself I just say I'm from HK :)

Yeah, of course, because if asked in Chinese there's an almost 100% chance that you ARE Chinese.
