Ya Mar February 7th, 2006, 07:20 PM What is the elevation of the french city?
Ya Mar February 7th, 2006, 07:23 PM Le Menuires (1850 meters)
Okay sorry I must have missed this.
In Colorado, USA there are many cities that look like Le Menuires (Aspen, Vail, Avon, and many other ski resorts). Because the cities are situated in mountain valleys they have to build up.
Sideshow_Bob February 7th, 2006, 07:31 PM Le Menuires Is very impressing!!
Manila-X February 8th, 2006, 04:58 AM Mexico City is at a higher elevation than Le Menuires at 2,240 m above sea level and it's one of the world's largest cities

Svefn-g-Englar February 8th, 2006, 11:04 PM Monterrey, Mexico, locally called "la ciudad de las montaņas" (the city of mountains). The tallest skyscraper in the middle of the next picture is 167 m.

Svefn-g-Englar February 8th, 2006, 11:12 PM I forgot it: Monterrey metro has about 3.6 million inhabitants (third largest metro in Mexico) and downtown is 530 m above sea level.
Manila-X February 9th, 2006, 05:44 AM Believe it or not but these two are arguebly the winners :D
Highcliff: 72 stories, 828 ft / 252 m
The Summit: 65 stories, 721 ft / 220 m

Most of Seoul's high-rises are in the flat lands but not in the mountains or it's slopes.
