Most of HK's peaks are filled with skyscrapers! Even supertalls like The Highcliff and Summit!

Le Menuires (1850 meters)

Okay sorry I must have missed this.

In Colorado, USA there are many cities that look like Le Menuires (Aspen, Vail, Avon, and many other ski resorts). Because the cities are situated in mountain valleys they have to build up.

Mexico City is at a higher elevation than Le Menuires at 2,240 m above sea level and it's one of the world's largest cities

Monterrey, Mexico, locally called "la ciudad de las montaņas" (the city of mountains). The tallest skyscraper in the middle of the next picture is 167 m.

Well, these aren't real tall buildings except for the tv-tower (371m). But look at this setting of Alma-Ata a.k.a. Almaty in Kazakhstan. Impressive!

Most of Seoul's high-rises are in the flat lands but not in the mountains or it's slopes.
