the Last Pic of AXIS Twin Towers :banana2: site, I was there yesterday talking with the construction workers this is speeding ahead of schedule, with two White Tower Construction Cranes :okay: on the rise at the site of the South Tower which will rise first, Both Foundations are completed , I say " Go Cranes !!! " :banana: :cheer: :pepper:

thanks dave, we needed an update..i just noticed how many ugly towers were getting. I had high hopes for latitude-but what a dud. Avenue loooks like something from aventura, def. not worthy of a downtown location. Everglades-what happened it looked nice in the renderings, and the only surprising building has been bor2, which looks really nice-hopefully they give it a better spire than bor1..yea right,lol

who the fuck are you to tell me i'm retarded, i can see just from looking at the progress of the buildings that they look hideous, what ever happenend to hiring architects and spending money on the appearance of the exterior...and just wait until they add on the standard white paint...there all going to look the same, so i think u need to shut the fuck up.

I think that he meant that it is often difficult to see, at this concrete stage, the potential of the finished product. Some have a great ability to analyze accurately from this state of development however. I understand your frustration architek, renderings can be painfully deceptive. I don't think it will be as bad as you perceive it to be now. In fact, while not all masterpieces, I think the city is going to look great, better in some spots than others. I personally think that a white city is BEAUTIFUL. Living in NY where all is drab and brick and dirt colored. White buildings are shimmering and brilliant by comparison, especially with the crystal clear tropical light of Miami. I hope that LIGHTING is utilized at least half as well as it is in the renderings.

The posts here are incredible. A lot of us complain that stuff isn't happening fast enough in Miami, but when you look at the photos taken in February and compare them to now, it is pretty remarkable.

Slow and steady wins the race, right?

fantastic update Dave thanks!...and I have to agree with arch photographer on this one being from the NYC area myself...some of the towering million dollar highrises are almost indistinguishable from housing projects themselves!

It's moving along but very very very very slowly. haha. I spoke with someone from there office a while back and they told me that they are going to build it. It is a very big firm and they will build it. So unless they were lying to me, it will get built. I love that complex. :)
