I passed through Little Rock last June, and was impressed with their skyline, only because it was bigger than I expected. I got there around dinner, and left the next morning, but does anyone have any pictures? I'm interested in finding out if this city is growing at all, and how fast. The metro was also bigger than I expected.

Little Rock is a diamond in the rough and poised to make some noise over the next few years.

A great skyline for a mid-sized city.

Little Rock is the smallest city with a light rail system. And it's a very progressive city, perhaps not politically, being mostly "blue dog", but what they've done with their city is great. Kudos.

I always love Chenal.

I have always been impressed with Little Rock's skyline, especially when considering its size. Certainly great to see this place getting some attention here.

The extension of I-530 to Wilmar, where it will connect to I-69 one day will also help Little Rock. I think all of the MS River capitals should be connected by an Interstate. Why is there no north-south route going through the hearts of these states anyway? JC is not even connected to I-70!

I'd like an I-53 connecting Baton Rouge, Natchez, Monroe, Little Rock, Jefferson City, and Des Moines.

Sweet shots. I've always thought Little Rock had a most impressive skyline for it's population. It's alot better than Baton Rouge's skyline and Baton Rouge is quite a bit larger with population.

Little Rock is pretty spread out for its population I think. Impressive Interstate network. Baton Rouge is a dumpy city, except for around the I-12 corridor where there are some nicer neighborhoods. All BR really has is state government. The refineries north of town are probably second, and boy are those land values low around there.

I-49 is already planned for an extension to KC eventually. Bypassing LR but hitting the soon to be next biggest metro in AR Fay-Ben-Spring corridor.

There's supposedly a little school there called LSU.

BTW, I'd recommend a drive down Highland Ave. if you think Baton Rouge is a dumpy city.

Baton Rouge is one of the biggest college cities with two major universities.

I'd include LSU as part of state government too with all the state assistance.

The stretch from New Orleans to Lafayette is being expedited and upgraded to top notch quality and width in light of the Katrina disaster. Between New Orleans and Lafayette is a stretch of over 2.2 million people and the route is needed for evacuation for future storms and by increased investment in the area by the oil & gas industry.
