That's debatable about the Hong Kong Bank Building. Because Shanghai got some tall ones as well.

That was the 2nd Generation of the Central Market which was completed in 1895 and rebuild as the current edition in 1938. :|

You have to blame the MTRC as it pulled down the GPO and made this place for two of the exits for the Central Station and the Worldwide House! :rant:
