I put a link to this site up somewhere the other day but thought that I should highlight these two new threads from the weekend...and alternative take on Daves lofty adventures.

Something that really struck me was just how nice a backdrop those flats by Lime St that the heritage freaks went wild about provide, when looking up Ranlagh St!

I shit myself when I had to spend a fortnight in the radio City Tower... would not do what these do for any amount of dosh.

Interesting about those disused shops. There are some others hidden away in the subway under Lime Street that accesses the St Johns Centre. They didn't last long - not a very congenial or safe location for a shop. Probably some planner trying to emulate the huge underground shopping malls and pedestrian tunnels underneath Canadian cities such as Montreal and Toronto. You need to think big for these things to work.
