I am torn apart between Mercury tower and Federation. IMO it is not fair that they will be standing so close to each other and also sorrounded by other tall bulidings. I 'd much rather prefer them to be somewhat stand-alone buildings, like Chrysler and ESB are in NYC.

No one wants to leave poor Russia Tower lonely - in fact I'm hoping for Mercury to be moved to a spot that's as close to it as the current projected plot is. My point is just saving Mercury from being built in an absurd location - literally slipped between two towers that will totally obscure its most beautiful perspective, the "long" side. Hell, no big tower in the world is shaded from both sides by towers as big that stand 40 meters away! Oh well... As soon as I find some spare time I will make a graphic to illustrate what I mean.

I like the towers and the cluster...but I can't stand the monotony of the blue glass...too boring.

The progress in this area of Moscow is awsome, I like all the towers that they're building there, but the Federation Tower is one of my favorites.

the question has been asked a lot on this forum, and the official word is nobody knows. I think the russians are quite transparent with their plans, so im sure the answer is available, but i aint up for the trip to moscow to find out.

i think they'll start it when Tower B is almost finished because it won't take a long time to build it

thank you posting these pictures. I love sitting in chicago and see current progress of a beautiful building from thousands of miles away.

It's amazing how the East Tower has grown up, before I said that the construction was slow, but now the construction is faster than before.

yes, as far as i know the Russia Tower Plot is next to the Federation Towers

It will be once of most butiful tower in Europe, not like kitsch towers wich stands in Moscow now, for example Edelweiss tower or Gazprom tower.

Wow never thought Federation tower would look really good. Moscow is lucky to have this being built in their city!

Watching this picture and the render in the first page I'm asking myself about the central spire. In the render, if it's right, we can see three union links between both towers, and they seem to be placed in the middle of the tower facade. Well, the central cladding is complete, except two squares that seems to be used for introduce material into the tower. I suppose that these places will be the links between the towers (sorry if you have spoken about that) The third one, the highest, is almost on the top of tower B, now without cladding. Is this right?

Reading your posts, it seems to be no news about the central spire, but the places without cladding makes me be sure that the project will be completed including the spire, of course. There is no chance that the "holes" in the cladding are the exact places for the links between the towers.

Anyway, it seems to be more difficult the construction of the spire with both buildings finished than growing it at the same time that tower A. Don't you think so?
