Al Bahar Waterfront Park

Project Overview:
KEO in association with WATG, as part of the successful “Alliance” completed this beautiful master planning project. The Al Bahar Waterfront Park is part of the Kuwait City coastline development, that extends from the Amiri Diwan to the former Al Salam Hotel in Shuwaikh for distance of 3.6 km. Al Bahar is a celebration of rich cultural heritage of Kuwaiti people on land and sea. It achieves a ‘Sense of Place’ with a program that includes:

Residential & Shopping complex
Beach and Sea Walk
Celebration Center
Yacht Club and Pleasure Boat Marina
Heritage Theme Park & Souk

Project Details:

Client:Kuwait Finance House
Estimated Cost:$ 130 Million
Services Provided:Master Planning, Architectural Design, Landscape Design,
Marine Engineering, Management

I was gonna post this project today i was just too lazy to do so yesterday :gaah:
This project is going to be in the place of Youm el Bahar isn't it ?

Kuwait Finance House canceled the project :bash:

and Kuwait Municipality make a simple development from Youm el Bahar untal Shuwaikh beach.

I don't know why this projects in kuwait become real :( :mad2:

So is this development of Kuwait Municipality under construction or is it just a proposal ?
