Project Overview:
Al Demna Waterfront Development consists of two parcels of land in Salmiya, one on the land side, the other on the sea side. The development envisions a composition of five areas, each area to provide for a different use and activity. These include: a Waterfront Park, Promenade and Beach; a Civic Plaza; a Summer Garden and retail Galleria; a Waterfront Crescent and Amusement Pier and a Marine Sports Center.

Emm I think that Bu Yusef already cleared this up. He said that Marina Mall replaced this project i.e. they're not gonna do this project anymore :)

The project is near showbiz and pizza hut. The guy manning the project covered the waterfront with tons of sand and kept it like that for 5 freaking months...

Do you mean this project is in Ras Al Salmiyah ? Or is it between pizza hut and showbiz ?

on the beach. very obvious, youll see a ton of sand and nothing on it!

They dug out the beach and replaced it with sand and were going to build these renders. but the project failed since the parliament didnt agree with it and now its paused...

the project model shows that it is not for the area kuwaiti discribes .. because simply what is the purpose for the bridge shown in the photo ?

BTW this project is on hold for years as i can remember

it looks like a nice addition, any development on that side of the water would be nice, as long as they don't proclaim the entire shoreline ... and keep most of the beach free of charge ..

Aha lool. I knew that not all ISPs ban these websites only the conservative ones :) Don't lose hope I saw workers installing those phone cables. These cables are supposed to be the best in the world and this will enable great internet service. These cables will be installed all over Kuwait :colgate:

They did start construction. As you can see they reclaimed some land on the beach.
