If built, I think this hotel would become the 4th highest building in Norway (all silly towers excluded)

3 below ground floors car parking
Floors Ground - 2 are for 'business use' (conferences etc I guess)
8 floors for 200 hotel rooms on top
They hope to start constructions in 2007 and it will take about 18 months to top up.
Apparently there is a need for more hotel rooms in Drammen and this new one placed next to the main train station should be perfect.
The Mayor is excited ;)

The Mayor is excited about nearly everything planned in Drammen...
The lot the hotel is planned on was originally planned to be a parking garage, so they're just pushing the parking downstairs :)
If built the hotel will totally dwarf the hotel across the street which is 5 stories tall.
The bus station is 20 metres away and the railway station is 150 metres, so it's located quite central.
