You guys are a lot like Des Moines and their "Principal Tower". Expose your only real skyscraper to everyone as much as you can.

Whatever. I think everyone on here knows your deal.

Well, you can't deny it, it is true. Des Moines and Omaha are constantly at war, and don't realize no one outside either of their respective counties cares.

^I care...This is one of the Midwest's great towers. It has grace, height and sophistication.

Great pictures... that's a cool building. I seriously want to visit Omaha someday. It's got that whole indie-rock thing going on.

Style515, give it a rest, please.

I'll repeat, ^I care...This is one of the Midwest's great towers. It has grace, height and sophistication.

(And Style515, with all due respect, if you still care to diss Omaha that's OK, but do it on the grounds of design or urban planning. You're smart enough to do that I hope, because I have read some good comments from you in other threads. But if you want to go further and condemn the people of Omaha for trying to create a beautiful city for themselves, then you need to tell them specifically why you think their efforts are wasted. If you are not qualified to do that, then you should keep quiet. :) )

Sorry, but there is nothing "indie" about it besides the fact that rock band 311 is from there.

And Des Moines has Slipknot.

Great building. Looks good at night.

style515, you're like an annoying gnat that won't go away.

Credit is due...those are beautiful pics of FNC. The pics of the Holland Center are cool too...especially at night with the top glowing. What kind of camera do you use DTO?

A disposable one. ;) Some kind of Kodak. I just point and click and hope it turns out nice.

Well, Des Moines is definitely losing the battle. Omaha actually looks somewhat impressive, I must admit.

I like the Qwest Center, the Wells Fargo arena was designed worse than "The Barn".

That is a great tower , way to go Omaha.... but seriously Des Moines BLOWS Omaha away in skyline and urbanity.

How is this about Des Moines? And Omaha is way more urban.

Neither is impressive, unless you're originally from small-town Iowa or Nebraska.

Both are basically New York City to people of their respective state.

From what I can tell from the great pictures provided by DTO Luv, Omaha has some beautiful buildings and an impressive central business district.
