The interest in hitchhiking grows in me lately, but I always considered it to be risky to hitchhike. However I know some people personally who always hitchhike when they travel and they are always faster at their destination than with any other travel option (except plane). They are so professional already that they never have to wait long for a car and they never pay anything for the ride! One of them even managed to hitchhike by sportsplane! I'm currently evaluating this travel option for myself so it would be nice if you share your hitchhiking experiences with the forum.
