I must admit that I really start to like this building, at the beginning I didn't like it at all but the cladding and the height make it look impressive!! already 300m high?

It is structurally completed or as we call it Topped Out. However as Altin mentioned, still a few things are missing and remain to be done.

There is still quite a lot of work remaining inside the tower itself. The first car park is about 97% complete. Only thing left is the stairs with their painting and inspections.

The tower still has many floors without tiling in the corridors or apartments. The swimming pool + jogging track on the 33rd and 34th floor is not yet completed. Almost all the stairs in the tower still need to be painted. Tiling on the ground floor has just started.

All the sinks/basins installed in the bigger bathrooms are going to be rejected i think, because the sub contractors supplied wrong designs(not in accordance with approved shop drawings), and somehow the contractor let them fix them on about 30+ floors. fail.

The tiling on the ground floor around the tower just got approved and i think they will start putting them down soon.

Sorry, for replying to the other thread with the pics, but only because it seems to be getting more attention there.

They were testing out the lighting on the tower last night and all I have to say is that it looked like the guys who designed the lighting effects were high when they did!! :nuts::nuts::nuts:

I have never seen anything like it! Flashing lights, all colours possible, they lights change colours and speeds and move up and down the sides of the tower slow, then fast, then flicker. Wow! I tried to take some pics to give you an idea of what they have done. It was pretty crazy!
