does anyone have any info or feedback on R66 Apartments? i read somewhere that it's also SoHo-style..

The surroundings are rather grim, this is reflected in the price.
Its low rise and has roads on 3 sides.
Lots of empty land awaiting building..........

i finally drove past today and went in to take a look.

R66 has 34 units and 4 shop units on the ground level. its 1-bedroom units are all sold out, in fact, there are only 6 units left. the showflat is only a 517 sq ft 1-bedroom unit, but it looks surprisingly spacious and nice.. i actually find it more spacious than the 1-bedroom units at Parc Emily and Emily Residence, even though the actual area is smaller, partly cos of its high ceilings i guess. there's a swimming pool and fully-automated carpark system.

it's just next to Farrer Park Mrt Station, with a vast piece of state land (according to agent) behind it. i think the location isn't too bad, in fact, it's probably just 3-5 minutes' walk to the future City Square Mall. located in a quiet area, away from the main roads and crowd, yet still close enough to all the action when City Square Mall comes up in future.

however to me, i feel that its a bit close to the junction... and furthermore there are workers staying nearby. i would not consider buying for myself or wat...

Anyone has any comment on Clydes Residence? It's near to the Farrer Park MRT.

Pesonally i think it's overprice. Currently, there are many new projects (such as Citrine, City edge, Ecoville etc)in novena/balestier areas which have much better designs and pricings. Clydes is too far off from the novena shopping zone and the design is also very factory look-a-like to me....

according to the brochure, there's a fully-automated mechanized car parking system, swimming pool and landscaped deck on the 2nd storey roof deck. oh, and 4 shops on the ground level if those count as facilities.

i'm not sure about R66. Kerrisdale rents has risen to at least $3k/mth for 3-rm.
