I do really like these buildings. They stand out so well and look stunning. Proportions are just right for them. I think they will look even better when JBR are completed and they a framed properly. I think I'll go with 9.5/10 as well, stunning towers.

the view from the beach is awesome, better than as seen from the marina behind them
also the ongoing construction makes them look a bit misplaced, but in 1 year the view will be much better

it's a nice and quite original design that has a very 'beachy' like appearance. very appropriate considering its location. the green glass and white masonry contrast each other well. the spires are rather fat though...

Well the shape is definitely right-on for these two; it is always best to go with curving forms when working with twins in order for them to flow into a single idea as opposed to blocky designs that compete for attention (a la WTC). However, like a lot of designs in Dubai, these towers suffer from design frivolity making them look far too over-wrought. So many of the design elements are simply not necessary and are not cohesive. The curtain wall is fantastic, but I wish there was a way to have it wrap around all sides of the building as it looks awful when contrasted against the concrete on the one side.

some points off for the close "twin tower" design. I'd never understand why people would want to build two practically identical buildings side by side. I think this stupid idea probably got popularized by the Japanese American architect who designed the former world trade twin towers in NY. and the Chinese, being fast but mindless copycats, are now following suit on a big scale.

This is a really cool skyscraper the facade looks very orderly, neat and clean. Just a stunning design and my favorite skykscraper in Dubai so far, it looks like a taller skinnier version of the al burj dubai which reminds me of a sail.
