Those diagrams are terrific. (everyone els says great.)
BrizzyChris February 28th, 2006, 03:09 PM Great work again Cul, thank you.
Brisbane could be a little quiet soon with nothing really starting until Vision now. Or hopefully some of the Petrie Bight towers (unlikely).
Locke March 1st, 2006, 12:09 AM Great work Culwulla.
Is there any chance of maybe having all the cities on the same scale? It might make it easier to see the relative progress of each city at a quick glance.
Bris and the GC looking good there:)
CULWULLA March 1st, 2006, 12:54 AM ^ i originally had them all the same scale, but small projects in Adelaide or Perth beacome too small to make out. so ive doubled there size. all diagrams have scale. but i will do something for April 1st diagrams.
Marky Mark March 1st, 2006, 01:40 AM This project was released in Hong Kong last year and was 60% Sold even before being released onto the Local Market in Auckland !
At 155m Tall shall add some Spice to Aucklands Skyline !

CULWULLA March 1st, 2006, 01:47 AM wow, so thats 155m to rooftop. whats spire height? have i got this on emporis?
Marky Mark March 1st, 2006, 01:54 AM she's a beauty though ! :)
An update on Merge .... Mixed use , Takapuna , Auckland ! This project was apparently a good 24 months away from starting , however Colliers have stated they are in negotiations with a Large Anchor Tenant for the Office section of this development and Construction may start this Year !

Locke March 1st, 2006, 01:59 AM No worries Culwulla, you're doing a top job!:) Hope you don't mind, I tried it on the current diagrams cos I wanted to see the result out of interest, below is the result. All buildings are now to scale in the picture and cities ranked in order of construction activity. I think it's a good way to see any cities activity as well it's activity relative to other cities, and the overall national framework and performance as well:)

CULWULLA March 1st, 2006, 02:09 AM no worries. looks good.
the scales are little out. perth needs alot of reducing.
cheers
Locke March 1st, 2006, 02:22 AM Cheers Culwulla. Fixed up Perth and some minor corrections to Brisbane and Melbourne. Should be good now.
CULWULLA March 1st, 2006, 02:34 AM i measured on my pc screen that 150m= approx 64mm., sydney is still too small. Meriton tower is 151m to roof not fin. maybe thats why its small?(54mm).
nearly there.
cheers
Citystyle March 1st, 2006, 02:46 AM Look at all our smalls. Go density.
Locke March 1st, 2006, 02:47 AM doh! fixed again:)
CULWULLA March 1st, 2006, 03:01 AM phew. got there.
#so from next month ,Conc will be tallest uc in australia.with 2 over 150m uc.
as for 150m+ scrapers. there looking rare atm.
#Brisbane will have 2 uc with brissy sq finishing off soon, but by then maybe Vision might start.
#Sydney has 3, but by end off year ,back to 1, and thats if Aspect actually starts.lol
#melbs verve is flying flag until end of year and then none over 150m Uc unless 559 collins starts up.
GC s 150m scrapers looks like having not only ConC, but Soul will start soon and Oracle.
christarrant March 1st, 2006, 04:27 AM Hey Cul, in regards to Sydney this would have to be the quietest it's been for CBD construction for atleast a decade ???
CULWULLA March 1st, 2006, 04:33 AM ^ getting that way. after luemiere and meriton finish this year we wont have a 500footer uc (not incl Aspect).
then again melb wont either. Things are looking up with small office projects starting up around the CBD. this will pave way for larger towers in 2007.
SEQ are the big guns atm
KJBrissy March 1st, 2006, 04:53 AM ^^^^
Especially with 6 UC at the Sunshine Coast and 4 approved highrises in Toowoomba!
Citystyle March 4th, 2006, 06:56 PM Perth has a 35 level resi tower in the PCC pipes so we will see somthing with that to.
