Amit March 1st, 2006, 06:21 AM The Embassy golf links pictures with the likes of Microsoft, IBM etc is AWESOMEEEEE!!! My jaw dropped far and wide. I am very surprized that this area has not been photographed before.
The IFlex area pictures are amazing too.
Even with all the negative press about Bangalore infrastructure (and justifiably so), some areas just sparkle like a diamond.

Amit, the difference is that this campus is a totally private development, where our super-inefficient BMP, BDA and other agencies did not play any developmental role, except maybe to allot the site in the first place. The new govt is trying to get back on track with PPP. Hopefully, things will improve in the areas frequented by the aam-aadmi also. :)

Excellent Pics. Nice angles. Expecting more from you.
I like Infosys buildings. They are definetly classic. I don't why there is a mad craze for building the tallest buidings.
Bangalore should stick with 10-15 storeys max ,but classic architecture. It adds beauty to the city than the staid, drab tall cubicle hole buildings.

Magestom,
You can adjust the mode of the digital camera, when you take photos. You can arrive at more deviations from the Normal Night mode ...
I have taken the night photos in a particular mode, where, the shutter speed is reduced. This may blur the picture, but will give your photo, more light clarity than taken in normal mode.
I am using Canon PowerShot A510. And these photos were taken just a week before by me.
I am providing the details of two of my photographs taken in different modes below : (see the difference in the exposure time)

Barring IT & a good climate (Even then, two-three weeks back, it was touching some 36-37 degrees), normal life is very much difficult in Bangalore, The infra is very much bad.

Cov Boy June 7th, 2006, 02:06 PM Great pictures, totally different perspective at street level, excellent job done. Always thought Bangalore was one of the better cities in India. Glad to see the UB City coming on well, design inspired by the Empire State Building. I like many of the glass buildings which give the city a modern look and the the greenery is great too!

This building is on residency road after getting off flyover. There are these huge modern buildings closer to the flyover and there is this huge shopping complex.
Rajith June 8th, 2006, 04:01 PM Warning : The below photos are lacking proper lighting. The angle of capture makes these even worst. (I just clicked these when I was in the car travelling urgently for some meeting.)
Please excuse the poooor quality :)

Suncity June 8th, 2006, 04:53 PM Warning : Oh.. S***, i missed the building in the frame. :x
That happened so many times to me during my Kolkata drives. It is actually a feat to take photos from a car and still keep something in frame and capture it before the car has moved on. And it is also diffcult to avoid the mish-mash of cables and sometimes curious onlookers and security guards.
:)
Rajith, can you please label some of those buildings if possible?
Rajith June 12th, 2006, 11:54 AM Rajith, can you please label some of those buildings if possible?
Sorry Sun, I am not sure about the names of some of the buildings.
You can see the name of some, in the pic itself.. like unisys, prestige obelisk, etc. For the others, I can tell you the location, but not the name. :(
All the buildings posted after prestige obelisk and between unisys, is on the Richmond road, near the Richmond flyover.
It would be good if some one can provide the names of the buildings.

sudheeshnairs August 23rd, 2006, 02:15 PM Rajith, the flight is not DN144, isn't? There is plenty of light left. Was it some other flight from 'Mumbai'?
Thought of labelling some shots.
This is 'Purva Reviera', u/c (with white domes). The other project is by some mumbai builder, forgot the name. 'Purva Fountainsquare' is seen on the left extreme.
