International Furniture Centre (IFC) is poised to be the premier centre for the furniture trade, design, learning and innovation in SouthEast Asia. To be fully opertaional by the final quarter of 2006, IFC marks a first as a one-stop global furniture centre in Singapore. IFC will integrate all year round export showroom facilities with design infrastructure, training facilities and supporting services such as logistics and branding.

The redevelopment Sungei Kadut Estate, with IFC fashioned out to be the iconic building within the zone, will feature a furniture street of trade and export-oriented companies, supporting industries and a linear green mall leading to recreation facilities and residential estates. Supported by multi-government agencies (SPRING Singapore, JTC, IE Singapore, EDB, URA), IFC marks the pioneering efforts to transform Sungei Kadut into a happening place.

IFC is an initiative by Singapore Furniture Industries Council, with strong supported from Economic Development Board, JTC Corporation, International Enterprise Singapore and SPRING Singapore.
