hi all, i am new to this forum.
does anyone know the status of the construction? Pictures would be helpful!!!!
Another question i have is that if tan son nhat cater to 75% of the traffic, why was Noi Bai built/upgraded first instead of TSN?
thanks

Because the government is full of cr@p and it is biased towards the north.

well it's the capital alot of vip officals go there first....and ya have to admit the old hanoi terminal is so bad .....it's like a warehouse.......Tansonnhat however could pass for a cheap terminal in a third world country...and still better looking than viengchieng or or pnompehn.
pretty muc like the cities themselves.....new upscale parts will stay that way until they get old....but the slumps areas will soon transform into modern and classy upscale area.
I bet ya the caravelle hotel must be very hot when it started out in the market....now it just an ugly concrete block stands next to a new renovated opera house

I agree with Bang completely. Plus any change to TSN would be on a small scale modification as long as city gov still wants to build Long Thanh Intl. I read somewhere that they have plan to turn TSN into a hub for low fare and domestic carriers in the future. However, these are all rumors.

actually the Caravelle hotel is still reeling in tourists. I've stayed at this hotel before and thought the service and the room to be better than most hotels in the US. I've also stayed at the Sheraton and the new Park Hyatt (all with great hospitable service). In my opinion the Sheraton is the best one.
now to the subject of this thread. I have found one photo of TSN under construction, but have not been able to figure out how to post it yet.
i'll get work on it asap.
anyone living in vietnam? i would love to see the construction progress of it. thanks
