Ten March 6th, 2006, 07:07 PM As I know, there are currently 4 observational towers in Thailand. They are in Pattaya, Saphanburi, Mukdahan and Korat(Suranaree U.) Which one is your favourite?
1. Hor Kaw Mukdahan
was completely built in 1996 with totally height of 65.50 meter

2. Hor Su ra na pha
Lacated in Technopolis, Saranaree University. Was a landmark for the Worldtech'95 exibition. Tatally height 63 meters.

3. Banhan-jamsai tower.
Thailand first and heighest tower with totally height 123.25 meters, located in center of suphanburi city.

4. Pattaya park tower
The tower rises some 240 metres and provides a revolving restaurant as well as spectacular views

I think it's safe to say that observation towers is not one of Thailand's strengths so far :)

That's Laem Chabang Observation Tower... It looks more modern than those 4 in the list. My vote might go for it!

I vote for Suranapa Tower for its originality.
My fav tower is the Suvarnabhumi airport control tower.. but it's not an observation tower though ;)

caught some pics of the tower there. Looks nice from distance and I guess the height should be higher than 100 meters, not sure though.

yeah, and IMO the best location would be east of Lumpini Park , near Royal Bangkok Sports Club and Soi Sanam Khli.
then u could see most of the buildings at Silom, Siam, Lang Suan and Sukhumvit... wow, that would be great.
btw..i like Banhan-jamsai tower the most.
