I Think the best reclad although it was more of a total rebuild is the office block on Charter row where William Hill is based, its such an improvement on before.

In 2nd place would be Redvers, although i liked the building before with its copper additions the reclading of the building and the internal refurb has really updated the whole area and links well with the new builds around it. I hope they reclad the AEU building next door, but looks as though its just getting a paint job inside.

3rd goes to Hyde park, its now 16 years since these blocks were updated and they are still looking good and clean all these years on.And it does not seam to have a reputation as much as it used to in the old days.

4th goes to the Uni building at Brookhill Roundabout the way this 60's building has been transformed with the addition of the turquoise glass and steel has made it a really focal point at Brookhill, except for the arts tower of course.

I just hope that with all these reclads the colour grey never goes out of fashion!

Bit of an old one, not sure when it was updated but the Hicks Building at the University is in an extremely prominant position and looked downright minging before they bricked it up and now I think it looks quite fitting for a University building....

Hallam's Owen Building looks a lot better for its reclad, especially the entrance

Is it called Millenium House?

It's considerably better than it used to be.

Yes i work there, no you can't have my autograph. The front of Milton House is a con job, the back is horrible. Redvers is neat but completely uninteresting and lacking any architectural value. Hyde park i'll give cos they'd be disgusting if they hadn't had their reclad. Much nicer now.

yes definetly, Hyde park gets my vote. The building looks so much nicer now, I can't believe it still looks clean!! Also i know Park Hill is listed but why is it any different to Hyde park??

It is listed because it was the first time these types of flats had been built in Britain, luckly Hype Park had its reclad long before Park hill was listed, just think they might had listed Hyde park aswell!!
