This is a 301 mile radius including most of the metro areas in the N.E. Region.

I must say I hardly ever leave Amterdam. I have a racing bicycle and ride to Haarlem (200.000 people), Almere (180.000 now but very fast growing),ther are both maybe 20-30 km from Amsterdam, but that's not what you meant I think.
Rotterdam, Den Haag, Antwerpen, Brussel, very rarely.
I should do it more often...
Was in Brussels in 2005 (great crazy city with enormous highrise boom at the cost of the normal houses) and Liège (also quite big) and PARIS, mother of all cities!

Using the size of Illadelph's region (roughly a radius of 450 km or 280 Miles), following big cities would be in my "Region": Berlin, Bremen, Hanover, Copenhagen (and the rest of Denmark), Every city in the Netherlands, the whole Ruhr Area, Cologne, Frankfurt, Dresden, Leipzig. Brussels, Prague, Nuremberg and Poznan would be just outside of this radius.
Although I have visited some cities within this radius once (namely Rotterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen) within the last two years, I have no plans to visit them regularly. In fact I don't have the funds to visit other cities regularly

In a 300 miles radius (480km) I hardly ever visit any cities farther than 140km. I go like once or twice a month to Balneario Camboriu during summer and about 3 times a year to Florianopolis.

The other ones, well, never ehehhe.

From Philadelphia I go to NYC constantly to see family and friends (every few weeks). I also go to Atlantic City since its merely steps away in the Summer. DC and Baltimore would be next on the list (every season), Boston last. I might go there once a year at best. I go to Miami more frequently than Boston these days. When I lived in NYC I went to Boston quite often. It was an easy drive at 5 in the morning or late in the evening. Now that I'm older I go less because all my Northeastern college friends have moved on. I feel like a has been and don't know anyone anymore up there (how sad). Also the gay scene has fizzled thanks to the internet. As I get older I'm more sensitive to the cold. I like going South whenever possible. There was a time when I knew so many people in Boston. I was a staple of Back Bay and the Fenway.

I get to Pittsburgh every now and then, haven't been there in years though.

I also get to Montreal and Toronto every few years in the Spring or Summer. The drive up is quite beautiful.

I also find my way to Seattle and LA on a regular basis. My favorite West coast cities where I have friends to stay with.

Last year I managed to go to Texas twice for an internet lover. I used to go to New Orleans once a year too. I'll be back.

I also stay with friends in Atlanta from time to time.

I need to go to Chicago more often. My friends out there are always inviting me and I love the vibe.

Europe every 2 years. Last trips were Madrid, Barcelona and Amsterdam. Flights out of Philly are non-stop. (6-7 hours to most big cities in Western Europe)

Flin Flon- 1-3 times in a month.

Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Creighton SK- once every 4-7 months

Calgary, Regina, Prince Albert, Churchill, Brandon, Lynn Lake, Lloydminster, Grand Rapids MB, Gimli, Dauphin, Bismarck ND, Gillam, Nelson House, Nearly most Manitoba and Saskatchewan major towns and cities (> pop. 5000) ... about once every 2-5 years.

Minneapolis-St.Paul- I used to got there once per 6 months or so when I was living in Winnipeg, however now it's too south for me to drive there often, anyway I would visit there once every year or two years.

Edmonton, Fargo, Grand Forks- Once 1-2 year.

Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Grande Prairie... A bit too southwest for me, not even been there till now.

Kenora- Was often the place for short break in summer weekend when I was in Winnipeg--- I must visit there in this summer again--- seems the best place throughout Ontario.

I live in Austin, TX so in the past year I've visited Dallas (200miles) about 4 times, one was a flight, Houston (150 miles) about 8 time, twice by plane and San Antonio (100 miles) about 10 times. Then I've been to College Station (100miles) about twice and the city of Abiline (200miles) about 5 times....most boring drive ever, no Interstate highways. :(

When I was in Houston I manged to make it to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Galveston in a matter of 4 days. As big as Texas is, the big cities are fairly close to one another.

Being a 10 minute drive from Center City Philadelphia I am there around 5 days out of 7. They are building all over Philadelphia. I heard trump has bought land for a future skyrise along the deleware riverfront.
