Looks great! This look (green glass) reminds me a lot of the Coal Harbour waterfront buildings in Vancouver.

I wish all the new buildings in Durbs (Umhlanga, Point, city centre, and now Amanzimtoti) were in one strip. Wouldn't that make a cool skyline?

hehe yeh...but there is so much going on all over that soon enough they might be one strip...well not to toti, but close enough.

Oooh I love this one!!! Wish the right tower were a bit taller. :) The left tower looks really good though! The skybridge, anything special about it? IE.....any services within it? Or perhaps its not big enough and will just be walkways.

Mike, do you know if there's going to be a hotel component here? I read something about hotel facilities being available to residents. Looks really good. Are they demolishing anyting to make way for it?

where exactly are these as there wasent much direct beachfront sites available or are the knocking down some crappy 60s units?

it is taking over a vacant spot at the quietest end of the amanzimtoti beachfront, towards Athlone park.

I have no details on developers yet, the official launch is 17 march, so will get more info then.

I dont know about the hotel component either, but i like the sound of that, since i dont think there are any hotels on the toti beachfront.

i really like the design, be departure for the traditional toti look. the building next to this development is nearing completion now. its called the Avelon and is 11F, but i dont have any renders on it.

Toti is moving on up! plenty things happening down the south coast that we not aware of! my friend is an independent archi technician he is busy with quite a few for margate. & he just finishes design his first 3million rand house for the CEO of the holiday club.

I also get the feeling it was cancelled. pity...

It would be a pity if it was cancelled. However, this sort of building would look great on the Waterworld site, next to Suncoast. Glass and steel could bring some glamour to the Golden Mile. We can always pray that it is being relocated there...
