As usual Sen-Adel breaks the news first.

http://pascotpropertydevelopers.com.au/index.asp?pgid=8

By the looks of it they're just scouting for interest and haven't even put it before council or anything yet.

Gioяgos, I'd like to have a little fun and play with this a bit but I know how I'd feel, so here is a link

This one's either u/c or very close to it mate.

The other one's at an earlier stage but is likely to be built.

Giorgio

What are you on about? Its perfect for Adelaide. Fresh and Modern simple Facade. Not as desirable as the other but its a great addition, probarbly around the 50-65m mark.

March 11th, 2006, 04:10 PM
meh...i like the circular cut out bits along the right though, or are they windows?

Giorgio
March 12th, 2006, 02:24 AM
there might be stairs in that little section.

hows that? two highrises in one day!!

March 13th, 2006, 08:54 AM
the render makes it look crapy imo, I believe that it will look really nice in real and the renders always change.

crawf
March 13th, 2006, 02:10 PM
Well i hope so, coz atm im not keen on this design

Giorgio
March 13th, 2006, 02:18 PM

Your possibly getting a new tower. Be greatful. The design is decent.

Mants
March 14th, 2006, 01:38 PM
meh....its better than some proposals weve had (eg. pinnacle) but not as good as others (eg. le cornu re-development at nth adelaide)

its still good we're getting a filler!! bring the 60m beauties on!!!

crawf
March 14th, 2006, 01:53 PM
mm True

Giorgio

Mants, maybe the pinnacle would have been a good building? We never saw a render ;)

Mants
March 22nd, 2006, 09:56 AM
yea, but it was a ridiculous proposal

Giorgio
March 22nd, 2006, 10:18 AM
In that it was diffrent because it was 6m wide? How cool!

redstar
March 22nd, 2006, 12:45 PM
ONLY 6m wide?
WTF? Even my front yard is like 4 times wider than that.

crawf
March 22nd, 2006, 05:57 PM

Does anyone have a render of that for curiosty? On Em[poris it says under facts:
Will be Australia's thinnest skyscraper at 6m wide. It will have a height/width ratio of 12:1.

Makes me really want to see a reder lol :)

Giorgio

Thats miniature.

Giorgio
March 26th, 2006, 04:13 AM
I stil dont understand that render. It looks like a building that has been bombed to me.

Roar/
March 26th, 2006, 04:42 AM
imo Pinnacle would have looked really nice on its own because then you would be able to see just how thin it is, not boxed in between two buildings roughly the same height.

crawf
March 26th, 2006, 02:19 PM
That is the worst render i have ever seen!!!

anyway, we going way of the topic

Giorgio
March 26th, 2006, 02:24 PM

Hey I was just wondering if anyone had any updates on this project cause I drove past the site today and realised that a Pascot sign is on the building. Not sure if this means anything, but could it imply that this project is more than likely to go ahead?

AtD

That Pascot sign has been there since March.

Very nice new development. Let the glass trend continue!
I notice that it looks quite a lot like the Santos development on Flinders Link.
For the mods - On Emporis, a height has been approved, it stands 60m tall, with 14 floors. Thread title can now be changed accordingly.

-Bump-

now here's a development i didnt know about, did this even get submitted to the council/state government?

It's 3 years since it was proposed and that latest render was last year, so i assume it's another victim of the global recession.
