I'm just wondering, how far is the airport in Vienna from the actual city? Or from any nice places in Vienna worth checking out?
How is the transport? Is it expensive with a taxi? Is there a train from the airport to the city?
I should be staying in Vienna for around 7 hours so i'm wondering if i will be able to go to the city and check it, and have time to get back to the airport....

The airport is not that far away as it perhaps seems!
You can easily get with the City Airport train (=CAT) to Vienna-downtown within only 16 minutes. Check this out for the prices:

And from there, you are nearby Stephansdom.

I guess this will be faster an less expensive than getting to vienna with the taxi.
