Yes there's a tunnel running under the the the road, The gaps are there to simply stop the build up of dangerous gasses coming from the vehicles.

it seems they speed (a little bit) up! i think this will be done within few months!

they will become a nice addition to the DBK skyline and fit in very well in the area because the DIFC tower just across the streets also have mainly glass facades and are designed very modern. Not to forget the Burj Khalifa.

In the past I recognized the unfished towers as an eyesore in the background of BK, but hope that will soon be over.

Yes hopefully but I thought the next one should be the Boulevard Central or Standpoint and they have started the Claren:)

after 4 years these towers are almost finish .... piouffffffffffffffff I was really no sure to be in live when they will be finish ... :)

They may be close to being finished externally, but what about the interiors? Any further news about one tower not being fitted out now?

i walked past them a bit more than a week ago. the base is still not even close to be finished. only barren concrete and some started internal partition walls...

Ive been underground on the monorail, where it felt for 2 minutes like a metro..

Two workers were killed when the construction crane they were working on collapsed from the 27th floor on a building under construction in Downtown Dubai.
