This is a massive site at the end of Arabian Gulf Street on the opposite side of the Symphony Site.The site billboard does not show much details.I guess excavation works are underway....Check if any more details are available...

I don't like it, it looks soo retro in my opinion.

Pretty good if it's the biggest arcade center. Isn't this owned by Al-Sanousee (our minister of media)? If it is Allah e3eena l2ana ibyaakil hawaa ma3a istijwaab Imsalam Al-Baraak.

y'all are gonna love this.

the design has been changed and given a more modern, curvilinear look. instead of the more "contemporary retro" design above, it now has a more glassy, metallic, sleek concept. i think this one's MUCH better.

^^ yeah, the land is the government's controlled by the tourism thing, and well the land rented was waaaay underpriced by the meter squared so they cancelled they project, but when he quit the minister of information job,,

another reason why it got cancelled, besides what crazy said about pricing, is that this was meant to be a youth entertainment fair.

but the owner wanted to make hotels, malls, etc. he forgot about the theme park issues, and concentrated on the mall

so he went against the contract.

its like the bowling centre. the main feature of the bowling centre is the bowling lanes. but instead, the main feature became the hotel and shopping mall...


its like a guy who wants to build a school. he ends up putting a mall and hotel inside the school, and a few classrooms in the side. its against the main idea, so contract is terminated.

Uhmm.. i was familiar with the project .. COSMO, their own bowling center was going to be part of the project, then they had cinema and restaurants, the normal mall concept. Never knew the project was for a youth center. That was suppose to be Brain Storms first mega project .!!

what ever the case was they sould give the serioues people the chance to work eaven if they did some mistakes . you know that there are a lot of developmet projects on hold or has been postponed or even canceled for very silly reason. thats whay we are behind the others gulf states where we can be better than them with some effort but more honesty from the incharge people

The construction going on near showbiz is not showbiz. It looks like its inside the Showbiz plot from the main street, but its not.

Sorry to say the project is still on hold. The construction wall and sign are still up because the authorities (police) came to the site suddenly last year and ordered all workers out. No one went in ever since and hence why the site looks like work is still in progress. :bash:

he just opened his new progect (solayel aljahra) mall & motel as i think we dont have any photos about it :(
