a) Could someone give me some information on marinas in Greece? (number of marinas, locations etc.)

b) Could someone please post some pictures of Greek marinas

Such infrastructure is very important for the country, as many wealthy tourists tour the Med on their yatchs. In other words, Greece can (and I believe does) make a lot of money from this particular sector.

Here is a small image of the Marina in Lefkada. One of the most modern in Greece as it was built just a few years ago:

http://www.lefkadahotels.gr/ourislandbig/marina-1.jpg

It can host up to 600 yachts and its building facilities include a control tower, multi-purpose building, sailing club, office and retail unit complex, a small hotel, vessel repair and maitenance unit, spacious parking lots for cars, over-wintering facilities for 300 vessels, and leisure and green areas.

Kalamaria Marina

The Marina is located in Kalamaria ( South suburb of Thessaloniki ) in a green quiet environment providing all conveniences and services of the city. The Marina is 5 km away from Thessaloniki centre. The area has many
Greek restaurants ( Tavernes ) and also many cafeterias.

This photo shows the marina located in Kalamaria and Thessaloniki back

']is there lots of marinas in Greece?

Of course Giorgos Greece has many gulfs and many islands so there are many suitable places for Marinas. Actually ther are 19 big Marinas in Greece but 22 under construction.
