Aussie Bhoy March 19th, 2006, 07:33 AM Good start Tays to hopefully lots more pics, I didn't know you were moving to Edinburgh, just a guess but is that Gorgie Rd near Haymarket that you are living, I had a girlfriend that used to live near there, close to Tynecastle, Hearts home ground (which by the way would be a good place to avoid today with Rangers visiting).
The Gherkin in London is pretty cool, if you go back to London visit the Tower Bridge, you can walk across the top section and you get some great views of the City and the Tower.
You are so lucky to get such a great amount of snow in Edinburgh, makes the place look magical. In the daytime picture you can just see the cold in the air, enjoy your stay over there and try to visit lots of other places nearby like Glasgow, Liverpool, Stirling, Durham, Newcastle, Inverness, etc, etc.
tayser March 19th, 2006, 10:27 AM lol, wrong football team, that's Easter Road from last night, Hibernium are just up the road, although I did look at Gorgie-Dalry.
I was told that I'd be disowned if I moved to Gorgie-Dalry - family over here are from Easter road and are rabid Hibs supporters
Aussie Bhoy March 19th, 2006, 02:50 PM Hibs are a good team, my second favourites, and not all their fans are like the guys from Trainspotting.

Tony P May 11th, 2006, 10:49 PM Wow Tays, kinda makes me wish I ventured outside of the circle line when I was in that part of the world last month. :)
Aussie Bhoy May 12th, 2006, 02:54 AM Excelent, I have some very similiar pictures from Carlton Hill in Edinburgh.
It's an odd place, so close to the centre of town, but almost this green, forgotten area with some old monuments.
Edinburgh Castle is awesome, I especially love the views you get from the cliff side.
Tays, have you climbed Aurthurs Seat yet, the views are wonderful.
Love Waverly Train station and North Bridge as well.
Have you done the Mary Kings Close ghost tour yet, it's the best one.
Also catch the train to North Queensferry and get some great views of the Forth Bridges (take pics).
tayser May 14th, 2006, 11:59 PM Arthur's seat: yeah, for my first time I went up the hard way and traversed the ridge in the first of the latest edinburgh photos............ christ al-frikking-mighty never again.
I want to do Mary King's whilst the festival is on, and yeah I agree with you on the Calton hill as well.
I did the Fife circle on the easter bank holiday weekend and took a video going over the Forth Rail bridge as well ;)
Tony: don't say I told you so! :D
Katrina May 16th, 2006, 01:20 AM Fantastic images! :D
