thanks for the photos. Is it safe now to walk along the kurilpa park area? I recall there were a few homeless camping out in that area back 20 months ago when I was walking along the riverwalk with my boyfriend. And a few months after that, there was a murder committed by some homeless at night. Therefore I never walk there again. It seems that lots of gentrification is going on in the ex-industrial part of the kurilpa park public space.

^^ Sadly, I'd have to say no, there were about 15 homeless looking people who were drinking grog in the park area before the bridge. I wouldn't walk along there at night.

Yeah first date... walked from kangaroo point cliffs right the way through southbank to that park... poor lighting and homeless everywhere. Not expected.

I love what they are doing to the library along the river frontage.
