construction in colombo is booming n some are going big...BIGGG(in sri lankan terms!!) wth the construction of havelock city already underway....consisting of 8 towers..4 of which are 18 floors and the rest of them are 20 floors...ita a 9 billion rupee investment(abt 88 million US), its gonna b a beauty!!!!

Colombo's CBD is called The Fort. And although it would be good to see a cluster, The Fort is all old colonial buildings and it would be terrible to see them ripped down. Galle Rd would be a better place for skyscrapers. It's near the beach and is mainly shitty, newer buildings that hold no historical significance.
