I would post some images but the Wilkinson Eyre website is in Flash - perhaps someone else could do the honours in grabbing and hosting.
Anyway, the designs for the new Mary Rose Museum is being unveiled today. There's a lovely set of renderings of the project on our website here (http://www.wilkinsoneyre.com) .
Just look under Projects / Destinations.
(Oh and have a look at the new Alpine House in Kew while you're there :) )

I'm not big on the facade. I see what they are trying to do but in the renders it doesnt look so good. I hope it looks better in real life.

Excellent - cheers guys. I think those shots give the reason for the facade a little bit more...
The form of the building is largely generated by the dry dock - itself a listed structure, in which the existing wreck is kept. Because of the manner of protection required for the delicate exhibits inside, it was never going to be a light glassy structure.
So instead, the metaphors drawn on were more to do with protective cocoons, upturned boat hulls, and perhaps a slightly literal reference to the building's contents. Internally the curved timber walls also become a device for placing exhibits in context similar to that in which they would have originally sat.
Not that you have to like it of course, just sometimes helps to have a bit of the story that goes with the design :)

I like it very much. Seems the UK's only island city is coming up with quite a lot of interesting developments of late.

^Well it has been a long time coming...
To be honest i am rather dubious about this museum. The renders shown so far give little clue to me of the actual experience of the building (apart from when i am in my copter how often do i see that view from it above ;)). Also the current renders (are they 3D max?) arent giving much clarity to the surrounds of the docks and how this building relates to them either conceptually or materially.
