This is the project Dubai Marina map :)
Together combining all our information I think that we can make this map with right building locations.

Maps what you find below are:
1. Dubai Marina map with areas named A-E + Jumeirah Beach Residence is marked with blue. These A-E are not official names, just to make our job easier.

2. Dubai Marina maps divided into these A-E areas: These maps shows skyscraper locations which are almost 99% correct places / verified.

3. Marina maps with approximate skyscraper locations. Help is needed with these to find right location, The locations where the building could be found is marked with rectangle with arrows. If you are in Dubai and are searching these buildings, you are likely to find the buildings inside the marked area.

4. Marina maps with "plot numbers" USE THESE WHEN TALK NEW BUILDING LOCATIONS (These are not official plot numbers!!!). These maps are here to make our job easier! If you know building's X location then just look these plot maps and find location's plot number and use it to tell where the building is. Much easier to say "I saw that the building X is in plot D-1b" than to try to describe the locations with other means "building is 250m away from other building and almost opposite the building Y...etc" well you hopefully get my point :)

Am I going to put pictures of each building into these maps? well maybe but it would be very big map, but it wouldn't be impossible, but first we need to find right locations for each building.

The “Tallest Block on the Planet”, is situated at the North East end of Dubai Marina.

Often referred to as the “Upper Marina”, or “District 10” of the Emaar masterplanned development.

Once complete this will be the tallest block of residential towers on the planet.

Marina Quays: well, I am not 100% sure about this building location, but I had the feeling and in the map there was only one right place where these buildings could fit :) someone should confirm this location, C-1,C-2,C-3. :)

Tranceees, please tell me are the Azure, La Riviera & Cascades in right places, I put these buildings in places in according to your photos :)

1y in map D definitely is grovenor, because it's directly at the street that leads to the roundabout
1v definitely 1000% sure is marina terrace, went there dozens of times

Fixed plot map A, there was one plot without number, also added 3more plot numbers into map A, A-1f,A-1g,A-1h , those seem to be very nice places and it would be weird if no building would be constructed there. as reminder I don't mean that there will be buildings in these locations, it will be only easier to describe those locations later using plot numbers :)

hey locals, would be great if one of you could drive beach road aka al sufouh road to the very end!! the skyline will begin with al seef tower. note down the name of the towers that follow in this row directly at the street! i think it's 500m to the last one al marsa, directly in front of a sharp right curve leading to the small bridge with the blue jbr aluminium walls on it.

trances, do you remember the sequence from al seef onwards??? it really sucks i can't go there!!!

I doubt this will happen as the JASC was gifted to the club by Sheikh Rashid many years ago and I have heard that when Emmar was doing the whole marina masterplan, they we instructed by the EO (executive office) that the JASC was not to be touched or changed as it was a legacy of Sheikh Rashid

I think there is a slight mistake with map 'D' location 16, I have stayed in the Le Royal Meridien Spa & Beach Resort which is in this location. The Ritz Carlton Hotel is correctly one side & The Metropolitan Hotel the other side.

there will be an amazing strip. only 200+ towers on this part of al sufouh:
al marsa, le reve, marina crown, number 1, marina heigths, ocean heights, al seef,...

Dazz, the hotel plan update is fine with respect to the Ritz & Royal Meridien, I am not certain but I think the Metropolitan is the longer horizontal plot. the smaller plot(s) which are currently boxed I believe could be a part of the Metroplitan gardens or even some small building units associated to the existing marina :)

dazz - you can change the name for the unknown 45 floor tower to horizon tower

I am not certain but I think the Metropolitan is the longer horizontal plot.
I think that the bigger horizontal plot could be Metropolitan Beach Resort&Towers, two towers which are under construction, as you can see the two boxes in that horizontal plot and podium between them, maybe... so it would make sense if current hotel would be next to it, I'll put them as so and if someone finds better maps or photos which shows that it's wrong I'll change it :)

I just wanted to say what a FANTASTIC idea this is - its the most useful map of the Dubai Marina I could find on the Web after a lot of searching.

I've bought an apartment recently in the Marina Heights however am slightly concerned about what might be built just to the north of it - is there anyone that's been there recently that can remember?

My memory is a little hazy but I thought the Emaar sales office was there ... along with various car parks. If so, I don't have to worry too much about my view being interrupted!

I'm very confused - the developer of my apartment (Marina Heights) has told me that Al Marsa tower is actually more towards Media City and only 47 floors above the ground?!

it is about as close as yours but it is a few more floors than 47

I contacted the architects for al marsa who gave me heights and floors and its 62 floors and 254m. It will be south west of your tower so its not directly in your line of site to the sea but just to the front (opposite way of the palm).
There is also a vacent plot next to your tower behind the emaar offices between you and Al marsa so Im sure something will go in there

OK the 37 floor tower board is down and there is a new one up , havent seen it cos it was dark but will look on Thursday.
We do know that along this section of Beach road will be one marina , marina crown and le reve. The 2 empty plots will have al amrime and Ocenh heights as both the brochures for these towers show them directly behind the DIMC

I've just seen an advert for a tower called Al Ameera ... the picture implies it is next to the Emirate's Crown and Al Marsa in 2g of Dazz's map.

Looks VERY tall however I don't think its confirmed.

Yes, it was approved in late november. I think is 90 floors 330 meters tall.

yes, Al Marsa's construction was quite slow at beginning, maybe because of the arch, but now they have passed it and construction speed is back to normal I guess :)

I was with a Real Estate Agent yesterday at the Dubai Marina. We visited A8 and Ae. These are called Marina Park and Marina Pearl respectively. He also pointed out to me that A1f, A1g, A1h in your plan as a planned Park which will extend from the waterway all the way to the street infront of Building A8 and Ae.

Hope you will update the maps accordingly.

first we thought there will be one plot occupied by the shopping mall, and the other one will be a car park, but now sa-boy told that there is some piling work und that one under al ameera in that map. so perhaps a new tower will rise there!
but no construction so far actually visible.

the metroplitan club is a long way out of place, that club is a long way from where it actualy is! somthing else will be built there when JASC get thier new club.

but no towes i suppose.. or what do you think...?

dazz - just in case you've read my previous comment: forget it! sheffield real estate has made a damned mistake with their plots!!! supreme residency 2 and supreme tower are on the same plot according to the info published by these fools!

the gowealthy map for supreme tower shows us this plot

they advertise both towers btw! so it definitely is a mistake

in their flash video on the website they even mix up universal apartments and supreme residency, both at international city! they are just plain stupid :D

The wedge shaped low rise at bottom right is Belvedere - I've bought a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment there.

I think we're talking about the same building - the 'banana' is the shape just below the water on the aerial. The hole in the ground at the left end of the 'banana' is for KG (am I right?). The 7 storey building at the right end of the 'banana' is Belvedere, I was in it only a few weeks ago :-)

Update on Belvedere guys; the developer just told me two days ago "the entire superstructure of the building is finished" and hand-over is around end of June/early July. We saw the sample apartment at the end of March.

they have to be pretty fast with exteriors etc if so.

when i look at how close marina terrace is to marina tower i'm a little afraid!

perhaps the grosvenor twin.but i am almost sure that there will be another tower, but the plot is very small from what i can remember.
though the marina view from grosvenor will be veeeery limited then.
actually i want that this plot remains free, a park or what, because there have to be some free spaces too.

compare the sizes of the bases to the size of the area in the roundabout

it can only be a small, short tower! maybe 20 floors, not more
you also have build roads to the entrance, which takes up some space as well

Why does it seem as the Dubai Marina project is a bit slow?? I have been checking the DM plot map since couple of months now, but it is still way from being dense!!!
Especially at the middle section ..

But I have to admit that the new super-high towers at the upper side of the marina are really amazing (the tallest block on earth)

JBR and JLT seem to be coming up quite nicely though.

DUBAI — The Dubai Municipality has recently issued the licence to construct a 34-storey tower in Dubai Marina at a cost of Dh71 million.


Khalid Mohammed Saleh, Director of the Building Department of the municipality, said the proposed tower would consist of residential apartments and commercial shops.

The building will have three basement, ground floor and 34 upper stories, he said, adding that the total built-up area will be more than 396,000 square feet while the plot area is over 32,000 square feet.

According to Saleh, the tower would have a total of 155 apartments, of which 24 are one-bedroom apartments, 86 two-bedroom apartments and 45 apartments with three bedrooms. The total area of shops will be 4,830 square feet. The parking lot can accommodate 210 cars.
