Bangkok got many things special more than you expected. Speed May 26th, 2011, 07:45 PM Also, you might think the prices at the top end hotels in Bangkok are expensive, but if you compare the value of what you get in Bangkok compared to price and what you get in other cities, Bangkok has some super values The seventh shape May 26th, 2011, 08:01 PM Didn't mean to imply Bangkok is behind other cities, I know it's not. I'd have to disagree with this. Bangkok's architecture, for the most part, is rather bland and unoriginal. The seventh shape May 29th, 2011, 04:48 PM I'd have to disagree with this. Bangkok's architecture, for the most part, is rather bland and unoriginal. I disagree as far as the Far East is concerned. Your more likely to find unconventional and a variety of designs in Bangkok than other major Asian cities like Tokyo (city of boxes) and Hong Kong (conventional glassy skyscrapers). What other city would you see a design like Maha Nakhon? Shanghai would welcome a unconventional design like that but that's about it. The Residences at The St. Regis Bangkok offers a central location, award-winning design and seamless integration with one of the world’s top lifestyle and hotel brands. As such, The Residences is touted as an excellent lifestyle investment for discerning buyers from Asia, the United States, Europe and beyond looking for a primary residence or a pied-à-terre for family and clients. “This window of opportunity to experience Bangkok through the world’s most prestigious luxury brand is closing sadly,” said James Knowles, vice president for sales and marketing, residential property, Minor International PCL, developer of the project. “With its incredible location in the center of the world’s most dynamic city, the exquisite architecture and design and access to the world-renowned St. Regis Hotel’s bespoke services, The Residences at The St. Regis Bangkok offer the ultimate luxury urban property for high-value buyers looking for a primary or secondary residence.” Located on the top 20 floors of the 45-story building, The Residences feature just 53 private residences ranging in size from 325 to 920 square meters. KeNgKrUpS April 7th, 2012, 11:15 AM 2 There are seperated elevators for residences. Great! There should be! 3 I believe the no pets rule is very common in this city And I can understand why. I am merely stating the fact that the No-pets rule is a deal breaker just for me. 5 2.95m is low? I wasn't clear - it just felt low. Again, my personal opinion. 6 Why is that a problem? Not for you or anyone else. It is for ME. I find it boring and un-inspirational. 7 The residences are located on the 29th - 39th floor. That small building behind St. Regis is not blocking the view from the residences. It might not block views for you, but it did for me. It was too close for my liking. 8 Yes. But then the north units have a view of ratchaprasongse, and the south units have a view of lumpini park with a wall of Silom-Sathorn skyscrapers in the background. I'm not going to argue with this. You are absolutely right, but it still doesn't change the fact that at night, there's a big, dark void in front. I personally just don't like it. 9 The BTS station and the building are too close to each other? What do you mean by too close? Why is this a drawback? Again, just my humble opinion. You and others might find it ok. I just felt it was too close. 10 Keep in mind that there are only 53 units sharing the facilities. I'd rather have bigger facilities being shared by a bit more residences - why?... Keep in mind that not all residences will use the facility at once. .. |
