MTLskyline March 31st, 2006, 04:14 AM I love the design of that building! It's not boxy looks modern, etc.. and If this does get built this will hopefully encourage more companies to start building high here again.
That area is really starting to get built up now. All these tall buildings are going to be casting shadows over that parking lot right in front of the Bell Center. Not entirely sure if Montreal has an intersection where on all 4 corners there is a skyscraper. If something gets built on that big parking lot near the Bell Centre we'll have a mini-Toronto. :D
Great news. Thanks for posting Malek.
Woko March 31st, 2006, 04:47 AM Nice Malek!!
Post it in the Montreal's thread.

Ashok March 31st, 2006, 06:36 AM Oh wow, that intersection is going to look great!

It's the evening news of SRC (CBC)...there's a Quebec (= The National) and Montreal version (= Canada Now).
Someone told me that the Montreal version used to be called Ce Soir, but I'm not too sure about that.
malek March 31st, 2006, 08:56 AM yeah Montréal Ce Soir.

marek bielski April 1st, 2006, 12:32 AM That is on the parking lot in front of Centre Bell, right?
Great news all around, how is it gonna work - a private clinic still subsidized by government?

I know the dimensions are probably off, but that's a general idea there. :)
Ashok April 1st, 2006, 05:17 AM lets pray a bit more to the skyscraper gods and get that parking lot filled in the opposite corner :)

i thought the project was approved already? oh well, i guess it's just wishful thinking on my part - here's hoping that corner becomes a dense one - with le crystal, this project ... and god willing... 1300 rene levesque. we need some growth in the city.
azzurri.chris November 29th, 2006, 07:36 PM I would rather see that lot reserved for a 35-storey office tower than some clinic.

hey, the clinic would be part of a complexe that includes a 35 storey tower!:)

I found that quite impressive! For a clinic to contain 35 storeys! it's kinda weird don't ya think?
Are you sure it isn't half office, half residential and a half clinic tower?
