Just read this amazing article from Ørestad.dk, and decided to share it with you :D ! (it's only in danish (see link on bottom of page)...i'll just briefly translate it..)

About 8 months ago, Godfred Louis-Jensen (danish architect) proposed a 40-storey (140m) highrise/skyscraper on Krøyers Plads. Søren Pind, the mayor incharge of buildings in Copenhagen, has since day-1 called this an "interesting project". However, it did not get too much positive feedback from some of thel copenhageners in the area, and obviously not the NIMBYs!! :bash: The project remained silent for a while...
Now, 8 months later, the tables have turned! Not only has this project been approved by the municipality, but it's almost 1/3 times taller than originally proposed. (56 storeys, 196m). When built, it will be the tallest skyscraper in the S&B region! The building process will start sometime in the beginning of the summer (july/august) of this year, and is estimated to finish within the next 4 years.
