It's flagship location in NYC is pretty much at 60th St and Lexington Ave in Manhattan.

In Portugal there are about 100 stores around the country and more and more are opening, the second with more Zara's after Spain, and some clothes are made in portuguese factories in the north, near Galiza where Zara and Inditex is established. I feel surprised when so many countries without and with few Zara's, and here in Lisbon there are Zara's almost in each district, in Colombo shopping center there are 2, separated by 100m aproximatelly.

to date, there are five Zara stores in Manila :)

on ermou street in athens there are 3 zara stores every 400m or less.. the one depicted above is the third in raw that houses only the women's collection while the other two house all the collections. in athens in general there are zara stores in every major commercial aerias of the athenean suburbs. in glyfada, one of the posh southern suburbs there are also three zara stores on the same street every few hundred metres... Actually the store that's supposed to be in beijing is one of those three in glufada... it's exactly the same! even the steel bars on the left side of the pic are exactly the same and in the same position... i've been ther hundreds of times.

yeah, there's one in Suria KLCC Mall at Petronas Tower. Thats the first time I shop at ZARA and now I'm hooked into it. I always visit ZARA Shibuya here in Japan every month.

There are 29 stores in US, in Houston, Miami, Las Vegas, LA, NJ, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, lots in NY (best ones at 34th, 54th, soho and Lexington) .... Zara has more than 1200 stores all over the world!!!

And I love the men section, which has a great selection of classic suits but also the latests trends for young and sport clothing. Nothing to do with what H&M has. You can't find shoes in H&M whereas there are great ones in Zara.

In Toronto, there are four Zara stores. They're in/ on Bloor Street West, Queen Street West, Yorkdale, and the Eaton Centre. Zara's really popular in Toronto but the architecture of the stores aren't as impressive as in other countries.

we've got a zara store in tegucigalpa (honduras, central america) they just opened about a month ago, the store has about 300mt2 and they are very succesful at the moment. the store is in a shopping mall, and the look is very similar with the one in medellin

more REAL history:
Opened on 27th October 1932 with a screening of the French film "Fanny" directed by Marcel Pagnol, the Cinema Metropole was the most spectacular cinema ever to have operated in Brussels. The architect was Adrien Blomme who created a beautiful streamline cinema building which had a hotel built on top.

The facade had four storeys of glazing behind which is a foyer of the same height. Internally there was much use of marble, travertine and walnut panelling. Inside the auditorium seating was in the orchestra, mezzanine and balcony levels, with a projection booth located at the rear of the mezzanine to give an almost straight throw onto the screen.

Over the proscenium was a relief panel by the sculptor Ossip Zadkine, which possibly masked the organ pipes.

Sadly this magnificent cinema was spilt into three screens in 1971 and then a fourth screen was added in 1989. In 1993 it closed and as it is located in a prime position on one of the main shopping streets in the centre of Brussels, it became a prime candidate for conversion to retail use. The hotel that had originally been built above the theatre extended itself into the upper areas of the building and a shopping mall was inserted into the street level. Now only the facade and outer walls remain, the interior is totally gone!

The store is supposed to be quite a bit bigger...anywhere between 1700-3000 sq m and up to five floors. Not sure how big the frontage is to the street but it will be bigger than the 22m Sydney frontage

Unfortunately, there are no Zara street stores in Brazil, only mall stores which are not that different from so many others already posted here. That really is a pity, seeing how well they preserve the architecture of the buildings!

For example in Montevideo the main avenue, 18 de lujio, in the past was the street of the best shops, but years ago it became a bad street for commerce, so all the famous stores goes to the malls, now it seems that is changing while the street is been restored and commerce in the street are improving

Zara is good but I prefer Massimo Dutti more.

We have 7 Zara in Morocco. 5 in Casablanca (3 separated shops in Morocco Mall), 1 in Marrakech and 1 in Agadir.

Actually, Zara has two stores that have storefronts along Orchard Road one at Liat Towers and one at 313@Somerset:) Their store at Great World City also has a storefront(sorry if the pics arent nice couldnt find any others):)

Nice stores and impressive internationalization.
I often buy in Zara because it's cheap and design is great, but I have to say that the quality of the clothes are very poor.
For example: one shirt I bought for 20 euros after I washed it in the machine for the first time the colour fadded way; one jacked with big brass buttons for 60 euros they started to fall very quickly and I had to waste 5 euros to sew them properly. But one button I lost forever and the jacket hadn't substitutes!
Something that you expect for most cheap spanish products...

You are right about that, after I washed my shirt and the colour faded, than I checked the instruction and it said it should be dry-cleaned only. But I've never seen a shirt that had to be dry-cleaned before. Shirts normally must be washed regularly because it's in close contact with your body and it easily gets dirty.
I hope Inditex isn't sending poor quality clothes to Portugal or I will never buy in ZARA again. :lol:
What I said about poor spanish products don´t take it like I have a problem with Spain because I'm from Portugal, that's not the case. I know Spain has a lot of top quality products in many sectors but you also produce a lot of poor quality and cheap products almost resembling chinese crap. In Portugal you are a little famous for that, specially in food sector.

well, but if the clothes is not for dry-clean it would be different, it will not be the same t-shirt.

I have some of that, and I bought it because I liked the tissue, although I know the problems it brings.

Something that you expect for most cheap spanish products...

The only thing made in Spain is the design in the huge headquartiers of La Coruna, hundreds of designers live there, the shoes from Alicante, and the clothes from China, Turkey, Vietnam, Morocco and Portugal. But actually the quality is the best for the half-cheap companies (H&M would be in a lower level for me), even several women and men lines (more expensive) have really good quality. But the change to a better company (in all senses) has just begun in countries like Spain, USA, Australia or Italy, the new shops are breathaking and the design too.
It's also cool to know that a big portion of the world clothes people wear every day have been designed in Spain for the 9 Inditex brands.

Probably high quality elements, the same way the handbags and leather shoes and other elements are made only in Spain because of the quality of the workers, the materials and the tradition of the production.

Soon Inditex will open its first Zara store in Skopje, Macedonia. It will have 2190 square meters distributed on two floors. It will be situated in Skopje City Mall.

There are a few stores with street frontages in cities like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. I don't think that any Zara stores front a street in Singapore (Vrooms correct me if I'm wrong) but plenty of other international chains like Abercrombie and Fitch, H&M and Topshop, as well as loads of luxury brands, have street frontages. In KL, Uniqlo, Sephora and Zara have stores with frontages on Jalan Bukit Bintang. In both cities however these stores are mostly part of a mall.

Australia's fifth and sixth stores are confirmed to be open by years end at Westfield Bondi Junction (Sydney) and Westfield Doncaster (Melbourne). Will post photos when they open :)

I think Zara Sydney looks awesome but I'm excited to see what Zara Bondi Junction looks like, especially considering it will be bigger and likely take on the new look concept. After Bondi Junction, it'll be interesting to see where Zara opens in Sydney next.
