Ok this is strange. But the only English school I know is ASIJ or American School in Japan.

Its a fraud. Once the victim open the e-mail, he will ask for money order for deposit, fare, tuition or anything. He / she will not stop until he got what he/she wants. Usually the victims are foreigners because there are no International Law against this issue (unless if the victim is the government). US and Europe are currently working on a program to catch these international criminals. I don't know if there is one is Australia but you better watch out.
