Messed Up June 16th, 2006, 01:41 AM This building looks great in the skyline. One of the best (if not the best) in Sydney. Very original like most of Fosters buildings. 10

nitro2038 November 6th, 2006, 02:25 PM Really stands out amongst the otherwise ordinary skyscrapers in its vicinity. Could even become something of an iconic building in time. This is the most exiciting recent building in Sydney and deserves far more accolades than it has received. It also looks amazing from the eastern shore of Farm Cove.

I think that the building's spire and whole crown is far to big but would've looked much better in the original design (which was exactly the same only the tower was twice as tall). The tower was halved in height because of the height restrictions on its sight.
love the atrium though...

CULWULLA November 21st, 2006, 01:36 AM probably Australia's finest office tower. It actually has an inside as well as exterior architecture. seems lightyears ahead of previous office blocks. ive taken a trip up lift and twas an awesome experience.The fittings, cladding,structure,space is exceptional.

APARENTLY the spire is too big because it was originally designd to be taller but got scaled down because it would create too much shadow over State Library and Parliament.
Also, its the second tallest building in the world with fewer than 40 floors
