I've noticed that most of the Red Cars where in the middle of the street. I wonder if they had tons of accidents with automobile's? The reason I ask is because the Orange Line which has it's own way had one to many accidents. Or can it be is that Angelinos back in the days where just more accustom to the trains than we are. I"m with (Botox) on the 101 line, look how wide the freeway was with a train in the medium. Now the 101 is just 5 lanes each way and no carpool!!!!

Ferneynism...are you in the SkyscarperPage California forum as well? Good! Back to the topic: I think the road on the left side of the 101 fwy photo must be Ventura Blvd.
In the first few weeks that the Orange Line opened, car drivers were not used to it and didn't know how to react, so accidents happened. It wasn't the fault of the Orange Line drivers but really ignorant car drivers. Like what Ferneynism said, we just have to get accustomed to trains sharing the road with cars.
