This was a Disney movie about a white apartheid-era south african exchange student staying with the ever controversial Congressman Ron Dellums. Has anyone seen it? Interesting movie. Piper Dellum, one of the two main characters is the one who produced it, and won two emmys. What happened to Mahree Bok, though? The white girl? Can't find anything about her on the internet. Anybody know? Probably not. Oh well. :)

Upon her return home, the 16-year-old reportedly met the same fate as Stephen Biko being taken into custody, interrogated about the Dellums, tortured and beaten to death by the South African Police,her father's own colleagues.
