Okay, lots of the old rust-belt cities have large train stations, some are beautiful and some are now empty.

This is a photo tour of Buffalo's HUGE train station, it was closed in 1979 and now is slowly getting back on track due to a all-volunteer group and public and private donations.

the new york central railroad co

Cool stuff. I once drove around it but wasn't brave enough to get out of the car.

Beautiful! Never seen this building before. It will look grand once it is restored. What are they planning to use it for? How long is the restoration supposed to take?

Nice, I like it's style.

Wasnt this building on the on show on Discovery where they went into abandoned buildings, they also went into a gran elevator.
They went into a tunnel from this building that they used to get luggage under the train tracks.

I became familiar with this building about a year ago and fell in love with it almost immediately. Its a great building.
