The reason is that she is the most loved singer in Egypt, even more than any other Egyptian singer. With a population of 70 million people, that's a lot of albums sold over there. I remember when she first came out with "Akhasmak Ah", they tried to ban her from the country for being too sexy while they had singers like Ruby. Hypocrites. :bash:
