I thought it would be nice for us to pay some attention to the this tower as well, since it has been literally and figuratively overshadowed by the Marina Tower...
I am actually starting to really like it!

Does anyone have any articles regarding this tower? I would like to see some interior renders as well.

I tried to crop and post from the pics we already had of the Marina, but please post any additional ones you might have!

Cuz when i was there last year, i never noticed any interesting towers... Only in Ashrafieh i remember there are a few nice low rises..

But now Beirut seems to be getting towers, which is good... And the location is very appropriate... I think Beirut could use a few more still, cuz itt seems apartments are grossly overpriced, soo maybe the answer is to increase supply...

I noticed an Emaar Billboard. Is this tower being built by them or do they have other propjects in beirut?

^^Its actually an illusion, the Emaar billboard is actually quite far from the building. They are not involved in this particular tower but their billboards are ALL over Lebanon because they are planning projects throughout the country.

Emaar is not planning any projects in Lebanon at the moment.

They launched an aggressive advertisement campaign two years ago to promote their projects in the UAE.

^^at the moment.... but I heard they have big plans for the future, they just wanted to start by getting their name out.

the little red roof topped building is the All Saints Aglican Church, it looks so tiny

I really wish we could see a recent frontal-view pic taken from one of those boats in the marina!

Also, it looks like the Beirut Tower is going to have more than 26 F ...hmm (I counted 29, and it looks like its going higher, but I dont know I could be wrong)

Today I passed from Omar el Daouk Street by car. I saw Beirut Tower from behind. Counted the floors, it was 29. They were building the roof.

Yes, it will be built immediately to the east of the existing Beirut Tower.

It's actually called Dib and Town Towers now, I don't know why they renamed it.

yes this is the top for the Beirut Tower, i counted 29 floors last time...

i am know a little bit confused bacause on the site of emproris it s written that this tower will have only 27 floors.

^^ Libano emporis is not really a reliable source, sometimes the builders decide to add a few more floors, that is very common

i know they dont update as much

how can Builders make new floors dont they have to flowo guide lines n rules

It's too bad you didn't photograph the rendering of the Bay Tower (also called New Beirut Tower) that will be built right next to the Beirut Tower. I passed by it once and was surprised to see the rendering, but I didn't have my camera with me.

I would assume the real name is Bay Tower and that it was just provisionally being called New Beirut Tower.

Nothing had been written. I got this info from Solidere's reports.

Beirut Tower looking Great

Just a thought on the name of this tower...

Why should this random, simplistic, residential tower be given the honor of being named after the city? I think if a tower is to be named after Beirut it should a significant multi-purpose tower that can be an icon for the city (think of Burj Dubai and others).

You are making a good point Beirut!

To the best of my knowledge, Beirut Tower is one of the earliest ones in Hotel District to be bought (in terms of land). Maybe the owners proposed this name and at that time Solidere approved it.

its the same architect and the design between this new beirut tower and beirut tower
look almost identical..

They are different ones.

Beirut Tower is on Mina El Hosn 1401 whilst Bay Tower is on Mina El Hosn 1422.
And one more thing, I was there yesterday...

Source, you are right in that they look similar and that is because of the same architect, etc. But they are not the same tower, I think we can consider them non-identical twin towers?

^^ The MT is unique thats why lol, the design is just wow, but the design for Beirut Tower is quite pleasing also, its not exactly a box, it has small curves and different angles, which is pretty nice.

it's just too fat...if it were twice its height it would've been better

It looks like the spire will face a park in the second rendering. However the first pic shows the spire facing a 1 level podium with a water feature.

I guess we won't see the green covering removed at least 6 months from now. Notice works are going for the balconies. Still, the right side of the building is untouched.

Actually, it useless to make balconies on that side. Maybe alike opening is designed for Bay Tower. On both sides, there would be "glass curtains" so that residents see the corridor of the other building. Maybe that side is dedicated for the stairs. That is not the case according to the renders. Most probably that is a cladding to support the building from rain, humidity and heat.

Thanx, I actually like cruising around that area and taking random pics, the street in the 2nd pic is going to be my fav street in Beirut once the towers are completed (right now it's the street in Sanayeh area between ministry of interior and the Sanayeh park with the nice shading trees :))

Im loving very bit of Beirut Tower, The views are fantastic from the balcony.

i kinda dont need to see what the toilets turned out to be (it's kinda ugly BTW) ............ i dident like it that much at the beginning and i thought the name "Beirut tower" should signifies something better ..... but it turned out quite nice .... it's not 100% completed tho.. the front needs a little bit more work i guess

Beirut Tower, started being built way after the Marina Towers, but Beirut Tower seems to have a much faster progess.

Beirut Tower looks amazing all lit up.. The whole area does actully. How will we know when its completed ? looks as if it was completed allready.

^^ Once the owners start moving in.

next time if someone posts a picture we see a moving truck in it... then we know its finished :P haha

Is this tower still u/c?

^^ it's considered completed, i've seen people moving and living in the building already. I just saw a report for the Marina Towers showing that there's people that did move in and some other parts of the building it's still empty because the tenants are decorating the interior of their home.
