I know ;) but for me its different. I like the way the car looks with its number. there is a special feeling attached to it.

Just added another Mitsubishi Evo, corrected one of the cars' name and added the new police traffic vehicles which are supposed to hit the road soon... All this was done to the first post.

Are you serious? The new 5 series as cop cars? Will they replace most of the vehicles, or will they simply change the paint scheme?

What is the best place and time to spot exotics here in Doha?

There are some places I know. The parking next to Le Notre Cafe, and Landmark of course.
My problem with Le Notre is that sightings there are random. Is there a specific day where I can find exotics there?

I have another problem with City Centre. Is there a certain area in the parking lot for exotics to park?... Unoffically of course! I have only seen one lambo in City Centre. Nothing else. Nothing at all. This can't be true, I must be missing something about City Centre's parking lot.

There are drag races in Qatar of course. But I think they are illegal! I believe there are only two official drag circuits in the GCC countries. One in Bahrain and the other is in the UAE...

The most popular car must be the Toyota Landcruiser. There is a shitload of it on the roads. Really way too much!
When I pass by Qataris' houses, I find a Landcruiser parked infront of almost every house. Many of them have even more than one!
The most popular exotic has to be the Bentley Continental GT. I see two or three Bentleys each day...

If that thing was ever made comercial then put me on the list for one, certainly looks a hell of a lot better than the Hummer H3. Those are such a dilution of the H1 and H2.

The Discovery is called Land Rover Discovery, not Range Rover Discovery.
A Range Rover is either an HSE, a Vogue, a Vogue Supercharged, a Sport or a Sport Supercharged. :D
I am just addicted to Range Rovers :D

Anyways, the "Disco" was made mainly for off road I think. While the Range Rover is more "civilized", It is considered an SUV rather than an off-roader...

And about fuel efficiency. I really have no idea about fuel efficient cars... On the other hand, I am quite good at fuel unefficient cars. ie fast cars with big engines :D

BTW, since you are and SUV fanatic. Have you thought of getting a Nissan (Patrol/Armada/Pathfinder...) or perhaps a Porsche Cayenne? A Cayenne is much powerful than a Landcruiser and much better looking IMO...

I belive this model will be realeased in the middleeast also, it being the biggest market for landcruisers. there is a talk around town of the new model being released.

I hope so soon, but what do you think are the prices for this model, which frankly looks like a jeep on steroids?

Well, this Lancer Evo does look like the one in the movie The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift (which was crap btw)... To my surprise, it IS the one in the movie. Someone actually bought the one used in the movie and it now has Qatari plates :)

Anyway, here's what I know... This is some kind of a tour from the Bugatti company all around the Gulf countries. Qatar then Kuwait then Saudi. They were supposed to be two Veyrons. A Black and blue and a Black and dark green. The black and blue was sitting in Landmark, while the Black and green one was being tested all around Doha... Anyways, the black and green one got some minor damage during transportation from Qatar to Kuwait (bumper damage I think), so they had to send it back to Italy.

Yes, it's so damn expensive! I think it costs 5m Riyals in Doha. Insurance is another half a mil. Not particularly sure about that though...
