PLEASE, we were waiting from someone who lives in Lebanon to join the forum! First I want to welcome you, second please take ast many pics as you can, I know its not easy for you, but most of us are living outside the country and cant go until later in the summer... if you could take pics of buildings under construction that would be awesome since we are all waiting for updates on projects. Well most of the photos are Skylinine Photos and I wanted to see more of the actual life in beirut. Photos of the people in beirut perhaps and the streets with shops and restaurants or parks. you get the gist. Well if you have free time wed love to see some of youre photos! thanks again!:)

I didnt say that the city is ugly, I said the blue handrails are dangerous and ugly.. how you jumped from handrails to the whole city I dont know.. but theres better solutions than that blue thing Im sure

i took a photo of city mall(i just have to get my camera filled up so i can devolope it)
city mall is really nice. they just ahve a few emty shop inside that need to be filled up.
but especially in the summer. its a great place to go get away from the heat. there are nice cafes inside.

Source, those are not handrails, that is a structure that holds up the shades which block the view from the street of the private American University of Beirut beach. I think in the winter they remove the shades, and so yes they look ugly but usually they don't look like that and it is only covering a small distance anyway. I will look for a pic with the shades so you know what I mean...
