Other tall buildings that resisted WITHOUT damage the earthquake ???
World Trade Center ( in that time Hotel de México ) which is 197 meters tall and 51 floors and the Latinoamericana Tower, which also managed to survive the 7.9 earthquake in 1957. This tower is 182 meters tall and has 44 floors.

Pengui January 16th, 2008, 03:45 PM When the facade is clean, which seems not always, it nicely reflects the light. There are also some much needed variations in the cladding, with mechanical floors and that vertical stripe on the side breaking the otherwise monotonous architecture. I have strong reservations regarding the top but it adds a nice touch at night. Impressive height for this location too.
