I need some significant and accurate figure about the roof materials industry in Vietnam (for example: factories' capacity, market size, demand...). Some major fields are fibre cement roof, metal (zinc) sheet, clay roof and concrete roof. I highly appreciated the figure in concrete roof cause I am in charge of the marketing officer for a concrete roof tile.

i think in Vn tin roof is very popular....especially during rainny season....you hear these special sounds: tong tong tong.. ting.... ting tong

Nowadays, I think they use some kind of composite tile looks alike of roof..I guess it fiber cement roof then. They make it looks just like tiles but it comes in sheets like typical tin roof sheet. Like Bang said tin roof used to be very popular because it's light weigh and less maintenace; however it generates lots of heat in the summer which becomes less favorite to consumer these days.
