Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir I, son of Shah Jahan who built legendary Taj Mahal, constructed this clone of Taj Mahal for his wife Rabia-ud-Durrani in his Mughal Capital, Aurangabad. This majetic monument is often referred to as "poor man's Taj Mahal" because of its craftsmenship and material usage. Nonetheless, an imposing mughal architectural splender but lesser known.
